- Jose Mourinho dropped Romelu Lukaku to the bench against former club Everton last weekend and the out-of-form striker came on and missed a sitter. Lukaku has scored seven goals in four league appearances against Bournemouth in the past, but Mourinho may hand Marcus Rashford another chance to impress on Saturday.
- Fred started his first game in more than a month in last weekend’s 2-1 win over Everton and could retain his place in midfield after a positive display against the Toffees. Few changes, if any, are expected by Mourinho when they travel to Dean Court.
- Marcos Rojo hasn’t featured since the 2018 World Cup but was on the bench against Everton. Jesse Lingard and Alexis Sanchez were also both back from injuries to form part of the matchday squad.
